I was informed that sometimes they allow that but the main thing with their rewards program was "early notification" about sales.

The same day I went to a coffee shop where I was asked if I wanted to get a free coffee using my points! I get a free coffee or pastry every few days thanks to their points system! Their rewards program is all about rewarding their loyal customers.

Which rewards program would you signup for?
The point is... if you want your rewards program to work, make your points so valuable that your users would want to put in the work to earn points.
Always put your customers first while designing your rewards program. Survey your audience to find out what they value the most from you, and allow them access to it using the points they collect! Create a rewards page and list different ways in which they can earn credits such as points for login, points for consuming your content, completing the quiz, etc.
